The upcoming school concert will be a completely new musical experiment. On the stage we will see a symphony orchestra and… a sensory orchestra. You will be able to see the free premiere of the concert on our Facebook and new EduFilharmonia YouTube channel on Monday, February 22nd at 11:00 a.m
School concerts are the events intended for classes IV-VIII of primary schools. They always take place in the golden hall of the Philharmonic, where the teenage music lovers can listen to the composition of the Symphony Orchestra which includes many musicians. This is the perfect time to start your adventure with a unique orchestral sound, which is in itself the mine of knowledge about musical instruments and works.
The next school concert, which will take place on Monday, February 22nd will be a unique combination of two orchestras – a symphony orchestra and a sensory orchestra. What is the sensory orchestra? It will be a band created by the students of IV-VIII classes of primary school who use specially constructed instruments – sensors that emit sounds thanks to the movements of human hands.
Each of the orchestras will have its own conductor – the symphony orchestra will be conducted by the composer –
Jarosław Kordaczuk, and the sensory orchestra by
Izabela Kościesza.
We will be experimenting with the sounds! We will learn how the sensors work and how to play them. We will combine classic instruments with them and create an innovative work. Who knows, maybe we will inspire someone to create their own unconventional work?
The new series of school concerts "Sound Generation" will prepare young music lovers to understand music, create it and derive endless pleasure from it.
We are happy to invite you on
Monday, February 22nd at 11:00 am to the premiere episode of the new series of school concerts called Sound Generation – X. You will be able to see the
free premiere of the concert on our
Facebook and our new
